Originally introduced to the hip-hop/rap genre at a young age , DraMatiQue began writing and performing songs in high school. Initially just a hobby, DraMatiQue teamed up with a longtime childhood friend and recorded a series of demo songs until college enrollment led to an inevidable separation. Without solid production and professionally frustrated, he took an unexpected hiatus from recording music. However, old habits die hard and during his college years …he began occasionally freestyling live on air at the University of Toledo’s campus radio station and eventually recorded several unreleased demos.
